At St. John’s University, you’re near all the excitement of New York City. Subway, bus or train to NYC and just a drive away from other major cities in the Northeast. Easy access to John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia Airports. In July, summer temperatures average 76.5 °F (24.7 °C), and the average temperature in January, our coldest month, is 32.1 °F (0.1 °C).

The minimum TOEFL Internet score for admission is 61 and the minimum IELTS score for regular admission is 6.5. If applicants are educated in the U.S. or at an American institution abroad, the same procedures are followed as American students in terms of credentials needed. Our online application is free. Financial Requirements

International students need a FORM I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for F1 Student Status in order to obtain an F1 Student visa, or retain lawful F1 status when changing schools within the U.S. To receive your Form I-20 (or Form DS-2019 for J1 Visa), you must be accepted to a full-time program of study at St. John’s and prove you can fully meet the costs of living and studying in the U.S.
